We have wrapped up 2024 Cursillo financial information and wanted to share a brief update with you.
Below you will see a summary of the 2024 Cursillo income and expenses.
- While we do our best to estimate income and expenses, there are some things that just cost more than we expected this year. We also had some one-time expenses of a replacing a projector, purchasing new totes for the trailer, and some IRS, Minnesota, and CPA firm fees to get our nonprofit status. Our bank account is healthy, so while this year was a loss, we were able to pay our bills.
- Generosity continues to be such a blessing to Cursillo! Every year we witness people give not only of their time and talents, but also their money. If we need help to cover a candidate or team or palanca registration, there are always multiple volunteers. We are so grateful for all that each of you contribute to the ministry and how you pay it forward when given the chance to help someone else.
- As a reminder, during 2023 we were able to obtain Section 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. This means that any donations (not your registration fees) are deductible for tax purposes. Receipts are issued if you contribute $250 or more. We accept donations all year long.
- 2024 registration forms and fees will be announced/released later this summer.
