Here is everything you need to know about arrival times, unloading, parking, and more.

How To Drop Off A Candidate

  • Candidate Drop Off: Thursday, 6:30 – 7:00 pm. Main Building Parking Lot & stop near the sidewalk that lead to the front main doors. (orange marker) 
  • Remember to ask for their phone/watch/electronics to hold for the weekend. (If they are refusing to give something up, let it go, and later let someone from the Back Table know and they can work something out.)
  •  Team members will be there to help unload & carry luggage/items into the building (or wait just a second & they will come)! The Candidate will not need to carry anything into the building. We want to serve them!
  • The team will help the candidate from here.

How To Arrive as Team & General Palanca

  • Palanca/Team can temporarily park and unload using the East side door (marked in black).
    • If you are dropping off a candidate – do that FIRST & then you can unload your items.
    • Pro Tip: In order to prioritize candidates & avoid parking lot congestion – if you are NOT dropping off a candidate, do not unload during candidate drop off between 6:30 & 7pm.
  • General Palanca Team Meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
    • Pro Tip: No candidate? Arrive before 6:30 pm to unload your items and get settled, or if you are arriving between 6:30 & 7 pm, without a candidate, park away from the building & unload your items after the meeting.
  • From the East Side door and follow the ground level hallway to find drop-off locations for:
    • Mail and Candidate Mugs: labeled totes are in the hallway.
    • Table Favors: find your Dining Room Rector/Rectora
    • Palanca Snacks and Drinks: the snack room towards the end of the hallway on the left. 
  • Head up the stairs to find drop-off locations for:
    • Candidate Snacks and Drinks: the snack room is at the far end of the hall on the left.
  • Find your room and bring your luggage and bedding there:
    • General Palanca – your bunk rooms are on the lower level, in the West wing (under the candidates). Claim a bed – there are no assignments.
    • Team – find your assigned room on the lower or upper level of the East wing.
  • Move your car out of the main parking lot – Please park on the Street or in the Stave Church Parking Lot to the Southwest (near the Stave Church/4th Day Chapel) for the weekend.

Women's table favors

Coordinating Napkins: Please bring 60 napkins along with your table favors.

Drop Off: Prior to the weekend – Bring your table favors to a Practice Weekend or coordinate a time to meet up or make arrangements with Anne.
